This family-run hotel lies on the banks of one of the most picturesque canals in Bruges. After an enjoyable day exploring this pleasant city, guests are very welcome to enjoy a drink in the hotel's cosy bar. Originally built in 1789, the family-friendly hotel offers 28 guest rooms as well as a lobby with lift access to the upper floors, express check-in/check-out, a safety deposit box, luggage storage and a cloakroom. All public and private spaces are non-smoking. Room service is available and WLAN Internet access and a car park are offered for a fee.

The bedrooms are small and basic but comfortable with pale wood and pastel colours and all have shower only. The renovated rooms are more up to date and have dark blue carpet, gold and red flowery curtains and bedspreads. The bedrooms are all slowly but surely being renovated in this style and are very good quality for a two star hotel.

There is a breakfast room only located on the ground floor which is decorated in pink.

From the E40/E403 motorways, take the exit for Brugge/St. Michiels and follow the signs for Centrum. Drive through the tunnel under the railway. At the roundabout go right past the railway station. Follow the ring road until the Dampoort (gate into Damme). From there enter the city following signs for Centrum along Langerei (road along the canal). After around 600 metres, Genthof will be on the right. Turn into this street and the hotel is on the left (Spanjaardstraat) just after the bridge along the Augustijnen canal.
